A-Arms

They mean well, but your original Can-Am Commander A-arms won’t take you as far as you may have hoped – especially not if you are rumbling around on rough terrain often. It’s up to you whether you want to swap them out with a direct replacement when the time comes or branch out, but either way, wouldn’t it be nice if the replacement outperformed the original? It’s time to raise our standards when it comes to Can-Am Commander A-arms. Sure, drive them into the ground to get your money’s worth, but when you’re ready to really step up your game, Everything Can-Am Offroad is here with a winning selection of A-arms and A-arm protection products from brands like SuperATV, Factory UTV, and more. If you seize this opportunity correctly, you can turn a routine replacement into a modification of its own, or at the very least, a sizable step up in durability. For example, if you want to improve your ground clearance or adjust your A-arms to suit different applications, we have Can-Am Commander A-arm sets for both of those purposes. Need a forward camber? There’s plenty to choose from in that department as well. No matter what you end up doing with this opportunity, you can trust that the larger-than-factory, heavy-duty steel A-arms and radius rods from these top brands will last way longer while taking harder hits. Most brands don’t take lifetime warranties lightly, so when you see them popping up consistently in a product category, you know they believe in their hardware. Throw some of these Can-Am Commander A-arms on for yourself, and you’ll be a believer too.

And what about small parts, should you bring some of those along as well? Short answer, yes. A belt is good to have on the machine at all times, and having an axle in the bike or at the very least the truck is also good. It’s hard to know exactly where to draw the line with what to bring, but you definitely need to have room for a cooler full of beverages no matter what. And don’t forget to bring a clutch tool for changing the belt, electrical tape, crescent wrenches, and hose clamps.

Regarding at-home Can-am Defender tools, a grease gun is a must for greasing up wheel bearings. If you’re doing any work on the clutch, be it either the primary or secondary, you’re going to need a special CVT clutch tool if you want to do it right. This tool loosens the belt up by spreading the secondary sheaves, making it so that when you put it all back together, you can do so much easier and, more importantly, correctly. Your Can-Am Defender clutch isn’t something you want to cut corners on, especially since it is your main source to make a machine move. Of course there are ways around using specialized UTV tools, but for what they cost we would without a doubt just recommend buying the right tools to get the job done right the first time.
