Fitment Issues

The good: Shipping was good, took less than a week to receive. Very easy install, just had to drill 4 holes through the floor of plastic bed. The frame under the bed has factory holes ready so I just needed to use the factory holes as a guid to drill. 4 bolts and your done (I have not hooked up the lights yet). Only took a few minutes from start to fishing. It looks very nice and feels well built for what it is. The bad: I installed the bumper on a 2021 Can Am Defender. Tailgate opens and rests on the bumper. Meaning if someone steps on the tailgate while it’s open, it’s probably going to damage the plastic tailgate. I am considering spacers to drop the bumper down just enough for the tailgate to clear. Also, when the tilt bed is completely open, the bumper rests on the tires. Do not consider larger tires if you have this bumper and want the dump bed to open completely. Also, if I drop the bumper any with spacers to clear the tailgate, it’s going to keep the dump bed from opening completely (but that still seems better than damaging the tailgate). Finally, when I bought mine last week (07/23/2021), the price was $233.99, it’s now listed at $419.95. Maybe I caught it on sale but it didn’t indicate that when I ordered it. The reason I chose this bumper was because it looked nice, came with the lights and was affordable. For $419.95, I probably would have kept looking. Fitment is not great due to the tailgate and dump bed clearance. Aside from that, it looks good on the machine and seems well built.

Although I've been updated twice about my backordered purchase, it's been two months since I originally placed the order. I cannot understand why it would take several months to push a product out the door. I will probably never do business with this company again if this is how long it takes to receive my order. Lesson learned.
