Rear View Mirrors

“Just because you may be on the trail, dunes, or track more often than the road, doesn’t mean you should ignore the importance of a Can-Am Defender rearview mirror. There’s a reason why automobiles are legally required to have them – they’re paramount for safety in all driving conditions. Whether you want to go street legal or if you just need to keep tabs on your cargo (living or otherwise), our broad selection of Can-Am Defender rearview mirrors will provide plenty of options for you to do so. We’ve got mirrors of all sizes and styles that will mount where you need them, provide a highly generous viewing angle, and most importantly, stand up to the bumpiest of rides with tough, vibration-controlled housing. Everyone’s used to the conventional one-panel setup, but if you’re looking for a truly panoramic view so you can see absolutely everything behind you in a quick glance, then it simply has to be a 3-panel Can-Am Defender rearview mirror from ATV Tek or one of our other trusted brands on offer. These ingenious visibility solutions are just as tough as their smaller and flexible as their counterparts, offering aluminum bezels, convenient mounting options and high adjustability, only they allow you to check your blind spots as well. That’s just the beginning when it comes to our Can-Am Defender MAX rearview mirror selection, however. Whether you need a low-profile mirror and/or custom mount that fits around accessories, a standard automotive-style rearview mirror, or whatever else, we have more than a few options for every possible style. “

And what about small parts, should you bring some of those along as well? Short answer, yes. A belt is good to have on the machine at all times, and having an axle in the bike or at the very least the truck is also good. It’s hard to know exactly where to draw the line with what to bring, but you definitely need to have room for a cooler full of beverages no matter what. And don’t forget to bring a clutch tool for changing the belt, electrical tape, crescent wrenches, and hose clamps.

Regarding at-home Can-am Defender tools, a grease gun is a must for greasing up wheel bearings. If you’re doing any work on the clutch, be it either the primary or secondary, you’re going to need a special CVT clutch tool if you want to do it right. This tool loosens the belt up by spreading the secondary sheaves, making it so that when you put it all back together, you can do so much easier and, more importantly, correctly. Your Can-Am Defender clutch isn’t something you want to cut corners on, especially since it is your main source to make a machine move. Of course there are ways around using specialized UTV tools, but for what they cost we would without a doubt just recommend buying the right tools to get the job done right the first time.
