License Plate Frames / Mounts

“You may consider a Can-Am Defender license plate frame or mount as an afterthought now, but if you put it on the back burner for too long, you just may find yourself pulled over on that next jaunt down the road for firewood, beer, or whatever else you need. If you want to be street legal, a Can-Am Defender license plate mount and/or frame is essential. As with all other accessory purchases big and small, we UTV riders have to contend with the rigorous demands of offroad use, meaning that rinky-dink license plate holder from the auto shop or gas station isn’t going to do much for you. We’re here to bring you seriously tough license plate holders that bolt onto your cage and stay put on the road and everywhere else. Even if you have a regulation-size plate to mount, we have a Can-Am Defender license plate frame to accommodate you – the same goes for motorcycle-sized plates. If you ride a lot at night, Everything Can-Am Offroad also has a large selection of lighted plate holders. You can even mount your plate on your rear windshield with some of these license plate brackets, mounts, and frames! However and wherever you need to put it, we’ll bring you a product that does exactly what you need it to: stay put, stay visible, and keep Johnny Law off your tail. Check out our expansive selection of Can-Am Defender license plate holders and mounts at Everything Can-Am Offroad and get that UTV on the road the right way. “

And what about small parts, should you bring some of those along as well? Short answer, yes. A belt is good to have on the machine at all times, and having an axle in the bike or at the very least the truck is also good. It’s hard to know exactly where to draw the line with what to bring, but you definitely need to have room for a cooler full of beverages no matter what. And don’t forget to bring a clutch tool for changing the belt, electrical tape, crescent wrenches, and hose clamps.

Regarding at-home Can-am Defender tools, a grease gun is a must for greasing up wheel bearings. If you’re doing any work on the clutch, be it either the primary or secondary, you’re going to need a special CVT clutch tool if you want to do it right. This tool loosens the belt up by spreading the secondary sheaves, making it so that when you put it all back together, you can do so much easier and, more importantly, correctly. Your Can-Am Defender clutch isn’t something you want to cut corners on, especially since it is your main source to make a machine move. Of course there are ways around using specialized UTV tools, but for what they cost we would without a doubt just recommend buying the right tools to get the job done right the first time.
