Folding Windshields

“The question isn’t whether or not you can find the best Can-Am Defender folding windshields at Everything Can-Am Offroad, but rather, whether or not a folding windshield is the best style of windshield for your riding preferences. As far as versatility and product quality, we’ve got you covered (or not covered!) with the best Can-Am Defender and Can-Am Defender MAX folding windshields on the market from brands like Seizmik, Spike, Greene Mountain Outdoors, and much more. As to whether or not a folding windshield is the best choice for you, it’s all about asking yourself the right questions. Do you drive at night often? Do you ride all year round? Do you love open-air riding? A folding windshield is great if you answered yes to any or all of these questions because it’s easier to see at night with it folded, better to ride in the cold with the insulation of a windshield, and preferable for many to enjoy the summer breeze when the time comes. While a Can-Am Defender folding windshield requires a slightly more involved installation process than half windshields, they’re still fairly easy to put on without major modifications in most cases. Thanks to continued improvements in scratch-resistant (polycarbonate material), full-length seals and gaskets, and UV-protectant technology, you can be confident that these Can-Am Defender folding windshields fit perfectly and ride quietly. Most of these brands ensure the windshield doesn’t directly contact the hood as well, so you don’t have to worry about scuffing or scratching up your ride. If you’ve determined that a Can-Am Defender folding windshield is indeed the best choice for you, then come on over and check out our awesome selection. “

And what about small parts, should you bring some of those along as well? Short answer, yes. A belt is good to have on the machine at all times, and having an axle in the bike or at the very least the truck is also good. It’s hard to know exactly where to draw the line with what to bring, but you definitely need to have room for a cooler full of beverages no matter what. And don’t forget to bring a clutch tool for changing the belt, electrical tape, crescent wrenches, and hose clamps.

Regarding at-home Can-am Defender tools, a grease gun is a must for greasing up wheel bearings. If you’re doing any work on the clutch, be it either the primary or secondary, you’re going to need a special CVT clutch tool if you want to do it right. This tool loosens the belt up by spreading the secondary sheaves, making it so that when you put it all back together, you can do so much easier and, more importantly, correctly. Your Can-Am Defender clutch isn’t something you want to cut corners on, especially since it is your main source to make a machine move. Of course there are ways around using specialized UTV tools, but for what they cost we would without a doubt just recommend buying the right tools to get the job done right the first time.
